PLEASE READ GREENLOCK’S RIDER GENERAL INFORMATION AND RULES

Every rider at Greenlock must meet all requirements listed on this page.

1. Please note that all forms attached must be completed in full, and signed by the appropriate person before being returned to Greenlock. NO PERSON WILL BE ALLOWED TO RIDE AT GREENLOCK WITHOUT A COMPLETED SET OF FORMS ON FILE.
2. Helmets AND safety belts must be worn by the rider at Greenlock. Personal helmets can be purchased at a local tack shop or at Greenlock, or one of ours can be used during the riding session. All helmets must be ASTM-SEI approved. If you use our equipment, it is your responsibility to have your child wearing a properly fitted helmet AND safety belt prior to the lesson. All helmets must have chinstraps.
3. Riders must be dressed in weather-appropriate clothing. Multiple layers in winter - long, lightweight pants in summer are recommended. Shorts are inappropriate for instructional riding. Pants made of slippery fabric are also inappropriate. Tie shoes with heels are strongly recommended.
4. Greenlock is very conscious of clients' weight for our very hard-working horses. If a client is over 160 pounds, there may be certain restrictions applied for the well being of our horses.
5. If a lesson must be canceled, please give Greenlock as much notice as possible. YOU WILL BE CHARGED FOR THE SESSION IF YOU DO NOT CANCEL THE SCHEDULED LESSON. Please cancel before noon, as our volunteers and instructors come long distances. Call Greenlock at (508) 252-5814.
6. If Greenlock is closed due to weather or vacation, we will put a notice on the answering machine. If you are unsure due to weather conditions, please call. If a "closed notice" is NOT on the answering machine, then we are open as usual !
7. Parking - Clients who are ambulatory and do not need Handicapped Parking should park at the barn and walk up to the arena.

No smoking on the premises except inside a private vehicle.

Fees for riding are $20.00 with an Instructor, and $30.00 with a Therapist per ½ hour session. Funding assistance can be discussed with the Director.

Greenlock strives to begin all scheduled sessions on time. We appreciate your co-operation in helping us achieve this goal. Your arriving 10 minutes prior to the start of your session allows ample time to insure the rider is ready to ride at the assigned time slot.
